“Look mum, I’ve made it into a book..!”
A little while ago I was asked by the talented photographer Rivelino Sellier to have my portrait shot. ‘A selfportrait through a Moluccan generation’
These portraits are like a mirror to the young photographer who himself is also part of the thirth generation Mollucan people in The Netherlands (making a difference).
We shot the pictures in my natural habitat, around the forrest and at places where I love to be the most and get my inspiration flowing.
It was a foggy day and the pictures are very natural, no make up, no styling. Totally me. And I love the outcome.
I feel so honored to be part of these portrait series and even more grateful my poetry is published in the book as well!!
Make sure you check out his work and get yourself a copy of the beautiful photobook MA ISE.
He captured my true face
“Where the land meets the ocean is where you will find me..”
Because I’m a goalgetter.
